WOW, just missed a day or so on the forum and could hardly catch up with the posts! Red Rooster, I'm so sorry your girl did not make it. We are lucky that we are able to end their misery humanely. They are tough little critters, that's for sure.
Sunny, your camera appears to work great and I'm jealous!
Froggie, you are just sinful spoiling your birds like that! I'm ashamed of you......LOL
100 eggs in the incubator??? I would really laugh if they ALL hatched!! OMG, how busy would you be??? No sleep for you bigb!!
Good luck with your eggs Bobby!
Well, my vet called me early this morning and it looks like I will have to wait another week to ten days for results. The gross necropsy did not reveal anything conclusive so they will do a more detailed necropsy and examine tissues, etc. I still have my fingers crossed that it is not MD! Hope I get some conclusive results! I am afraid to go into the garage where the other 2 birds were and then come into the house where the chicks are. I don't have a bio-security suit......LOL. This gets very complicated.
I will post more photos of my New Years Eve hatch in a few days. I'm still so excited that I had my first 100% hatch. Next hatch due the 12th.......7 eggs. Where are all the other New Years hatchers we had?
Very cold, and blowing, and snow here in KY. today but should be warmer by mid week. Glad all my Seramas are in the garage with heaters nice and warm. We have a generator so if the power goes out, that will take care of it.
Well, with the family gone, I can get back to keeping up to date here.
