WOW! Your birds have AMAZING type!! Check those out - everyone should be deeply inspired by that flocks' type. How long have you been working on seramas? I LOVE that little silver girl in the bottom picture there.

Thank you for the kind words . I been in seramas for almost 3 years now . I got trick into buying a bunch of cull when I first started . But with that said , I only want to breed for the best that I can . I have what I have thanks to some good people I meet along the way . I only breed from two lines now that is my friend Tim and Jerry . I dont care to add any other line into my flock . I like where my type is now and I want to keep it that way. If I can help a few people along the way then I will . looking to improve my line everyday . There is always something to improve on . nothing is perfect and there is always room for improvement ..

I still have one little girl in my egg layer pen (y'know, breakfast eggs!) with a giant comb, loooong back, white earlobes, and scissor wings... She lays golf balls and she enjoys a good bowl of ramen. Should have named her Big Bertha.
I like Jerry- don't know Tim. Jerry has always steered me in the right direction with what to look for and what to breed what towards. I also think it's awesome that he believes in the integrity of Malay/Ayam seramas and the original stock he imported. It's not only about American Seramas. I think it's important to remember where our birds came from.

N.WChickenGuy :

With that being said I am Looking for a breeder quality roo can you or anyone else on here help me find one?

NW, there are a lot of people with good birds that will help you out with a nice rooster. Many of us are very nice people and like to help others instead of criticizing everyone's birds. Talk to me privately or any other HELPFUL person on this thread and we can find you someone with a nice rooster.

A lot of people have bred OEBG to Serama and have NOT bothered to tell anyone they sold/gave the birds to that they were mixed. Unless you get from someone that is a well known breeder or who can tell you exactly where there birds came from for a few generations, it is hard to tell what the birds are for sure.

Serama come in all qualities and colors and are fascinating no matter what type they are. It is also NOT necessary to spend hundreds and thousands of dollars on them ( and brag about it) to have nice birds.

You do just have to be patient and buy a few nice birds. Especially get a nice cockeral and a couple of good hens.

So don't let anyone run any of you off, thinking that you have to be a money spending fool to get nice birds.
