Awww that sucks, I'd love to have some of his eggs. He shouldn't stop selling just because of one incident. I mean everyone knows that shipping is a gamble and if people are willing to buy them...

Oh i agree.

Jerk (person who yelled at Jerry), no one should hold someone else responsible for those stupid people at the post office.

Sorry to jump in here but I just wanted to show off my new pair from Jerry! They are traditional serama so I hope it's okay if I talk about them here. So far I'm happier with the pullet's quality but the cockerel has a great temperment. Hopefully his type will improve as he gets older.

They aren't posed but i believe they should look better once they gain some confidence.

Any thoughts on colors? The hen's tail is actually blue but it might be a little hard to tell. The cockerel also has a few blue splashed feathers. Honestly he looks kind of like a blue red sport but idk if that color's possible in serama

Any other feedback would be welcome as well.

I apologize for the pic overload

That is a very nice looking pullet, and I bet you'll like your cockerel better when he grows his tail back in. Looks like he's missing some feathers back there right now. I have no idea on what to call the colors, but they are pretty!!

Again, congrats to you and your new birds!

Okay people I need urgent help here, I just found out that my one pen is INFESTED with lice (now I know what was crawling on me the other day), probably from my new boy cause none of the other pens seem to have them. I heard that dusting is supposed to get rid of them but I've also heard that one drop of advantix. Any thoughts?? And if dusting is the best way where do I get it?? I do have frontline but it's for 23-44 lb. dogs, I know it's just a drop but I'm hesitant to use it.

Whitney, I've used the 100 lb dog Frontline on my Seramas. One drop just to the side of their vent, or under a wing, just to make skin contact. I use it maybe every 3-4 months or so, not on a monthly basis, usually just before shows, so that I know that they are clean, and that they won't pick any up there. I've never had a bad reaction with my birds. Now, all the birds I've treated have been over 5 months old, and in good health.

I don't know anything about Advantix.
