Def like the first boy and the first pullet
The babies are getting big now and starting to display a bit. Here they are at six weeks old (today.) Total mix-mash of color and no idea what to call 'em but I love them all.
Here is Pepper, my bold little white lobed boy.
And my shy boy with red lobes. Still no idea what to call him - he was my rescue baby. Lacks confidence outside the cage or away from the others.
And the two girls. Spark is my favorite. She's always the first to greet me in the morning and doesn' t mind handling at all.
Here is Nilla giving me the stink eye. She has a little bit of gold mottling on her chest, it's just hard to see in this photo. Her back is long too but she's quite the character.
Edited to correct typo.
Have a orangish chick and a black and yellow chick hatch today in my barred pen. But the three hens
attacked so was a quick look. Might try tonight in the dark to get a peek at them![]()
