American serama thread!

Not at all what I'm saying. You have been acting this way before I asked the question regarding body type. Not at all what I meant.

To others you come off as rude when you post things like the laughing though, I'm sure you never meant to. You just post random Laughs each time someone posts an American Serama on here. "that's not a serama" is what you are saying when you do that.

Can I get an AMEN??? That is exactly why I don't chime in. Every time I read this thread I leave irritated. There are friendlier more pleasant threads on BYC, with only one missing element...... The only reason I stay around is to be educated on The American Serama, and to see peoples beautiful birds. The showing off and hidden insults are so tiring.

After seeing that Malaysian.....have I mentioned how much I love my Pet Quality American Seramas?

Not even close I show this to a few of my friends from Malaysia and they said hahahha ....

and they said when they look like this when they are only 7 months ...

O.O I think I prefer the American Serama then... that looks deformed, in my opinion. And that is just MY opinion.

Saying there are real Malaysian Seramas in America is like saying that there is real Mexican food here. IMO, what people here want to call Malaysian is really just a typey American Serama with a lower tail-set. If you look at the standards, they are very similar.

This Malay was bred by me and I gave him to a 4-Her . He is very proud of this bird and loves him very much ... see the size and type difference...

This is American serama thread, why don't you start your own Malay thread..........

He can't because it got shut down because of one person that was being less than nice....but there is the Tradional Serama thread, just that no one goes on that one....so this individual can't be less than nice on that one either....

One more fact on the Malaysian serama and then I wash my hands of that................The birds ARE trained in little plexiglass boxes [I have heard that they are 4"X4", but have never seen one]. I do not know how many hours a day they are forced to stand in that box, but it enough so that .......well,......you see...these pics of the final product of human manipulation.........

Hi Folks, lets try to bring the friendly nature of our birds back to the forefront of our conversations. Let's not worry about what others feel or think or say about our birds. If someone has something less than positive to say and some of us don't feel it is warranted lets just try to choose to ignore the post and the individual . people do this for attention , to get a rise out of others or out of competition which the show world reinforces and sometimes out of insecurity of some completely different aspect of their lives. It is also a reality that different cultures have different modes of comunication and interaction and as members of a society that is based in immigration we should all practice tolerance toward others . We will be better people for it.One of the traits we all love about the Serama is the gentle trusting and kind nature the birds have . Let's make the forum in their image . %)
