Americana acting different.

Hey Everyone!
I have a 6 yr old Americana. I’m a little worried about her right now. She usually comes flying out of her coop in the morning when I open it up and dig around in the yard. Lately, she doesn’t want to come out. She just roosts all day in her coop. And when she does come out, she’ll dig and eat and be a chicken, but she also just stands between the fence and a bush for half the day. She still is eating (less than usual though) and drinking normal. The weather recently changed to cold and rainy. She’s also had a long molt. I want to say it started maybe 8ish weeks ago (give or take a little)? She lost a bunch of feathers. Most of them have grown back but she still has some pin feathers on her wings and all over her head. I know that she has acted depressed before during a molt, but I just want to double check. I’m worried about her because she’s getting older. At the beginning of the molt, she acted more normal. Just the past 2 or 3 weeks she’s started acting depressed.

I think between the age and the molting, she's having a tougher time recovering. Might consider boosting her protein intake a bit to help her finish regrowing feathers, and/or add some Nutri Drench to her water or feed for a bit, just to give her a bit of a boost.
