Cat1944,
For the longest time I had thought that my second EE was a roo but now after seeing your picture I am starting to think differently!

This is Mufassa (the thought to be Roo)

This is Surabi

Both of these are older pictures now. But for some reason I was thinking they were male and female partly because of Mufassa's tail feathers and beard. Neither are laying or crowing yet, so I guess I will have to wait and see for sure.

Here are mine. They are young pullets and should start laying within the next month or so.

Here is Abby

Abby's coloring is beautiful. In fact they all look good. Hawk looks a little rooish to me from this angle. Are its tail feathers pointed.

Hawk isn't a roo, don't worry.

I agree about Abby though. LOVE that color! Reminds me of my Black Copper project Araucana.

Nope your right it was just a wild feather. She looks good in that pic. Her coloring was wrong for boy it was just the tail feathers and the look in her eye. Sometimes boy will look you right in the eye where girls wont.

Illia, wow! now that's a cool looking bird. Sorta Darth Vader'ish, in a pullet kinda way.

Oh this one does. She definitely has an attitude and is quite spunky. She thinks that she runs the place, and that us humans are just here to wait on her (Well ok, she may be right on that one).
Edited to correct FFS (Fat Finger Syndrome)

I had a snow white ameracuana/easter egger hen with a little black on her. She got killed. Does anyone know the best mix to get more white hens? It seems to be a rare color. She was the only one from what I hatched to be such a bright white. The others were more brown. I miss my little "Snow White".
