Easter Egger. (mutt)

Araucanas are willow legged, have no tail, don't have beards, and are rare.

Ameraucanas have tails like him, but don't come in that color.

He is a roo FOR SURE, a mild mannered one, have him with my Americana girls that are in all colors (with tails and tuffs, most are blue eggers), but he really has no tail to speak of, is large and had never seen the color b4...he also has the face tufts. :-/

Willow legged means they have light, powdery greenish colored legs. Ameraucanas should only have slate grey legs, and Araucanas, in most colors, should only have powdery green legs.

He is very pretty. His face has muffs and he has a beard. Tufts are totally different. And since I like posting pics of my birds here are some pics of tufts.

Here's an up close of what tufts on an Araucana are, to help out. And because I also like to post photos of my Araucanas.

Notice, none of them have a "beard" of fuzz under their beaks.
