Hi! Got this cutie about a month ago. We were told she was an Americana but looks completely different than my other Americanas. Any idea what breed she is? Could she still be an Americana? Thanks!!

I know this is a tad bit confusing, but "Americanas" are not a breed. "Ameraucana" is the actual breed. Americana is the name for an "Ameraucana" cross often sold at Tractor Supply stores and Grange Co-ops. Americanas (also called easter eggers) are far more common than Ameraucanas, and because Americanas are crossed, they vary alot in appearance. Hope that made sense.![]()
