My mom said I could at least email this person about these dogs. What does everyone think? Mainly the first and last (the two males).

There are 3 dogs on there, if I can only get 1, what would your guys' top pick be? They are only 2 hours away.
I would get the two males but if only one then do Deluxe. He seems like he has the most experience. I would ask to see them run as well. Also ask what places the dogs got in the races. I know they ran races but did they finish in the top 5-10 or come in 34th?

Personally I'd take the female Saphire and get a brood of pups from her and Burner then breed all the "true" females to Max and Regal.

That'd be a good idea. Except I don't have a male. And I have no idea weather she's spayed or not. My mom didn't really like the way she looked and I don't want to push my boundaries. Lol. I finally got her to at least let me ask about them, so I don't want one that she isnt going to agree to. She said they would probably be too expensive, though. She likes Deluxe, the first one. Oh, I found another ad on Craigslist for FREE Sibes and Alaskans, 2-8 yrs old. Tell me what you all think. Because if I do get a couple, I want them to be good dogs and not dogs that will make problems/have problems.

One other thing, should I be looking for leaders? Is it okay if I just get leaders? I'd ask to see if they can run other places, but should I get a few team/wheel dogs too? If mom says yes to more than one dog, of course. Oh, and how many should I start with? 3-4? Less? I just really don't want to mess anything up.

I honestly prefer males. I don't know why.

I would. My mentor let me up with just leaders to start and now that I'm in the market for dogs, she will only let be get leads. It nice because they can switch positions which will take stress off the dogs.
I would start with 2 or 3 then build up as you get comfortable. If you start with too many dogs, it can be dangerous for you and the dogs.

Okay, great. I left a voicemail about the free Sibes/Alaskans. I think I will get 3, and just start out running 1-2 until I'm ready for more. That way, when I know I can handle more I won't have to find another dog when it's taken me this long to find one lol.

Haha that would be cool. :)
