yup, layers are good. Under Armor is good. I really like Thermax. It's hollow core poly thread in a weave not unlike pantyhose. The hollow core  warms to skin and breaths amzingly.
but ya, an Arctic parka for racing is smart.

Latest news on my end.
>That female, Princess didn't work out.

Too much on my plate and logistics didn't jive in my favor. Oh well. lots of time.
>I took some of my dogs and a cpl sleds to a Family Day gathering at the local sliding hill on Monday.
About 60 ppl showed up. The dogs were awesome. They pulled 2 or 3 kids at a time around a 3/4 mile trail that I had "dragged" through the woods, and they were so good with the kids.
The kids were excited and pleased..... and I made $500.00 in 4 hrs.
Lotsa work and I am still have aching bones and muscles but I had a blast and made a few dollars doing what I love.
Now if I could do that 2X a wk........I woud have enough $$ to buy a cpl more sleds and a proper transport unit. And maybe some new wood products to build new houses instead of scavenging at the landfill site. but I guess the "landfill site wood products" are cheaper and it is easier on the environment.
......... long story....just a bit excited and relieved and happy and full from supper and...and..and....LOL.

I don't think the Pomeranian is really meant for pulling.... A *little* too small....
