Apparently the team of 13 is Qimmiq from Northern Canada and the team of 11 is from Greenland. I can't tell the difference
I have some pix of a litter from Prince Albert Saskatchewan but still can't get them up.
$770.00each tho' so may not be of much interest to you.
But they are sure cutesy.

They're such beautiful dogs! I find that style of mushing interesting. Fan mushing I mean. Is it for traveling on ice or more effective in some other way? Anyone know?

Ya, the 'fan hitch' is good on ice for sure. Maybe other things too.

Dang those are pretty pups. The parents are good looking as well.

OMGoodness I know eh. I'd love to get a cpl males from this brood and maybe a female or 2 from 2 seperate other lins of Qimmiq/Greenlander to add some color, coat as well as physical and mental/emotional attributes back into my existing lines.
Oh but these little rascals are so cute eh. Even just that is almost enough to drive me to get 1or2......if I had the cash.

Agreed, good dogs are quite pricey these days. Which is good because it means they won't up being some over weight pet in a tiny backyard.

Aw. Very sadly that's not always the case. I've seen a lot of real good dogs that were sold for upwards of $1500.00-$2000.00 end up in a teeny kennel in a teeny yard. I swore I would never do that tho. I almost got there but my wife kinda gave a kick in the butt and told me to honour my dogs.
Bad thing is there are people out there that have more ego than brains and want that "beautiful dog" because it looks so much like a wolf (you know, the exotic pet thing) and buy from irresponsible breeders who'll sell to anyone just to make a few bucks.
Good thing is there are people out there who are more concerned with honouring the breed specific traits of their chosen "fur buddy".
Lots of people want to buy a dog from me but I've refused 100's of them. 1 couple offered a G for my ageing 1/4 ArcticWolf 1/2Qimmiq 1/4Sibe big white male but they thought that tethering and kennelling were mean. They were gonna let him just run around. Of course I refused them. Now he's still with us and limping and whimpering but refuses to come in the house or even my shop. I just take him for walks now ....if he wants. I don't like to think about it but I think this his last winter in this realm.
On that note, after watering my dogs yesterday I heard them howling. Very odd time of day for them to howl and it was different from when they howl at sirens or when they're happy like after being fed. So when I went to feed them lastnight after my supper I see Patrick, 1 of the twins(Patrick and Snowy) had just passed.
I don't know what happened. It doesn't matter really. He's dead and ain't gonna come back if I know what killed him. Hurts though. Even though he wasn't good with my leader he sure was a sweetheart with my kids and grandkids. And what a powerful wheeler. I'm gonna cremate him once I inform my daughter one her babies is gone.
Also a family friend( my grandfathers God son's daughter) was buried today. She was a few months older than me. Wow.
Another couple of reminders to always treat everyone and everything with respect because it may be the last time you see them alive.

So anyways that's my ramble for the day. I hope everyone has a better day than I just did.
