, Beautyful Baby's! New Years Eve Puppy's! But we might keep them until there 12weeks old. :)

You can send a few my way..... :D Lol! I wish!

I usually wait until, they're about a year or better before I see who'd be good where. Even then I sometimes need to rethink my original plans. It doesn't always workout the way I planned it.
Hank is probably your best bet for a longstanding sleddog because of his feet, and I would think Hadley as well would have all black pads.
Black pads = tough feet, black roof in the mouth = tough dog-stamina. Lighter pads and roof of mouth or lack of pigmentation anywhere as well as dwarfism is generally a manifestation of weaknesses from in-breeding to one extent or the other.

Wolves, even Arctic Wolves have black pads. I seen a lot of wolves up close and not a single one had light pads much less white(or pink).
Same as coyotes. Just an evolutionary trait for survival. If your life depends on your ability to maintain a run and your pads give out then you die, simple as that.
Mouth roof pigment, just a sign the K9 is essentially a stronger product of evolution.
Just some facts for you to consider, and actually anyone who is considering mushing.
I'm not saying I know all, but the Internet is loaded with info. That said I knew that from my old folks here. They were smart. Considering the were ridiculed for not having an education they lived longer happier lives than the vast majority of the "educated" ones that made fun of them.

OOOOOPS. Gota go. Boss says so.

I was always taught that if a dog had a black roofed mouth it was a smart dog. That's interesting about the paws; I didn't know that.

1rst quote...If I could I would take Hank and maybe even Hadlee.

2nd quote.... Yup. More stamina too.

I'm liking Pyro and Pedro but I would need to see them in person before I choose any.

Bummer. I'm glad you are working on it though. That's a very mature thing to do is work out your emotions in a constructive way. Kudos young lady.

so Hi every one! I was gone for a while, I'm currently trying to buy a new sled and 1-3 dogs, oh and no snow yet :(

Hi my girl. Missed ya. Where'd ya go? If you don't mind me asking.
Why do you want a sled when there's no snow? Perhaps consider a training cart. I hope you know I'm teasing you about the sled, because ...like...there's no snow.
To me "trying" is a cop-out ,like you've already given up. Make a plan and follow it. If you fail, rethink your plan. "Where there is a will there is a way"
I hope also you attain your goals.

So I got bout 4-5 inches of white here. In the bush and in the high grass about 7-8 inches because of the shelter.
I've been out on the training trail. It's nicely packed & the dogs know exactly where they're going when I take them to that certain snubbing post. I think they like that trail for some reason.

we should get snow soon, but by the time we get snow, the sled i want will be gone so i have to try to get it now. By trying i mean I've been waiting for a response.
