Love that lead book!! I finished it 3 times already!!
I was looking at the pics. Some nice ones on here. Mind if I take them and make em into posters? ....Or props for a workshop.
I want to host a mushing workshop for my community. I wish to endorse healthy alternative to slouching in-front of an idiot box with a game-controller in hand.
My plan is to invite some mushers that I know and get them each to show a different aspect of mushing to the participants.maybe one musher/aspect to a pod/group,of participants so a participant in GroupA will need to network with a Group B member and a GroupC and vise-versa. You know, "network" with others to "get mushing".
Also, I read that book"TRAINING LEAD DOGS by Lee Fishback. That was years after I'd trained my first leader. All said, all info is info. I used what I felt was warranted. Okimaw was a better leader than Baron, Baron was better than Snowball. Maybe Burner will be better than Okimaw. Nah. Ain't no lead gona be that good. Different yes, but not like him.

I need $15 for a new harness.
My parents are still sticking to "NO" Hank sits, lays down and comes! And he just turned 8 weeks old today!!

I'm debating on if I get to keep him, if I try lead or just stick to wheel.
As of right now, he doesn't like lead. But he's still a pup.
Blue, I'm using that on my parents!
My parents know how serious I am about mushing. Moms just worried about my safety. I have dizzy spells and some times I get close/do faint. Hmp, I told her ill stay close.... And we could always do 2 teams, 2sleds and 2 ATV's! Lol

Mom yelled at me for working Nala! She said so to weak! That's why I did a 5-10lb load!

She says she to skinny, but that's why we do light loads for 10-30minutes of training.

I just need a team. It would take alot of stress off nala. She just melts in lead. She can't pull wheel, she's amazing in team though!!

I wish I could send her to someone to run her on there trained team. Lol,
She'd die!! Lol, she hates new people.
