Darn it, I wanted him for distance. He's fixed witch is good for me since I wouldn't want him for Meringue.
Not totally sure how much, haven't talked with the owners yet because I wasn't sure if he would be worth my time convincing parents and than driving.
Oh, I think he'd be OK for distance, just not real fast.
You never know though. Looks can be decieving. A wolf can run for 5 hrs @ a lope of 20mph. That's a hundred miles.
oooo! T'would be simply lovely to have a team of 10. The iditarod would be yours anytime you wanted it. Feed them a 5lb fish and water at lunch time and leave at midnight...5or 6 the next morn, stop..feed them a 2 lb fish and water, rest..11 days of that and the Iditarod is done.
A wolf wont travel on a full stomach, especially hard, unless it's taking food back to the pups. People just thought them to be lazy because we didnt know.
A wolf has more sense than a dog that way. It's almost like he thinks"You dang fool human. You can kill me if you want, stranding yourself out here with no sled pulling power but I sure as heck aint gona commit suicide with "twisted gut" to please you".
Did anyone else notice this dog has a black tipped tail? not white. Why is that?

char
That is a nice little sled. I would lkie to have 1 like that.
I strongly urge you to oil it with linseed oil or at least coaloil?lantern oil..
is that the bidle you made?

Yeah that's the bridle I made. I was thinking about varnishing/staining it to make it waterproof or at least more water resistant. Maybe next summer. :idunno

I noticed his tail too!

Update on Hank, I haven't got to sign the contract yet so he's almost mine,
Were working on sit and flat stile and this week end I'm going shopping for him so I'm going to buy 2 bowls a new collar and some supply's to make a harness I can adjust as Hank grows. I have to deside if this year I'm going to show him or Nala but I can't do both cuz later in the year were neutering Hank

OUCH! me man! hate nueter.
Like I said, I hope it goes well. Pickin-up for you on this one.
Smart. adjustable harness. I just paid $27.00 for an xack to fit a small dog thas stil growing. Mind you, I can use it on others.
Stailess steel bowls are nice because they're easier to clean. or so I've found. Even moreso than aluminum.

Why do you hate neutering?

I have to neuter him 2 reasons why,
1: Nala's not spayed and Baby's not( our mini weiner dog)
2: it's part of my contract
Other wise I wouldn't fix him
