Americauna or not?

The girl I got this bird from called it an Americauna. She is raising them so I think she probably wouldn't call it that if she didn't think it was but with all the talk on here of people calling Easter Eggers "Americaunas" I thought I would ask. I have read about the different breeds but still can't tell on my own! She is approximately 23 weeks old and hasn't laid yet. Hopefully any day now!! If you know what she is please tell me why.

You should prob inform her...she may have gotten wrong info from where SHE got the birds from.

Thank you for the link, it was very helpful! Thanks for all your replies too! I figured she was an EE. I just love her. She is very sweet and I think the lowest on the pecking order. I can't wait to see her eggs!

I learned something new today. I've been calling my girls "Americaunas" when I should have been referring to them as EEs. Thanks for the clarification. BYW, my EEs took quite a bit longer than my RIRs to lay. Be patient. It will probably happen soon.
