Americaunas are great birds but but when it comes to being mom not so

I have two Americauna hens they are great chickens and very sociable but when it come to mothering they are miserable at there jobs,some chickens are natural mothers. But this type of chicken like some others will not take care of there eggs some hens will sit on there eggs though and will hatch them. But when there are fertilized eggs you would half to incubate them. Witch is not a problem but if you want a chicken who will hatch the eggs for you,Ameraucanas are not the chicken.

If you want a chicken who will hatch eggs get a silkie. They are great mothers and will hatch anything! They are not picky. They are very broody.♡

We'll they are good chickens I was going to get silkies cos they got a good reputation but at the time I could not get them so i got ended up getting buff orpingtons witch from what I have heard they are good chickens. Now are they good at mothering.
