Ameruacana hen or rooster?!? 8 weeks old

We live in a subdivision so I need to be super careful about a crowing rooster... My first flock... A little worried this hen that my son named "marshawn mcnugget" might actually be a rooster

It's an Easter Egger instead of a true Ameraucana, and it's definitely a cockerel. Sorry. (

The large red comb with three rows of peas in it, the red feathering in the shoulder area, and the presence of long, pointed hackle and/or tail (in this case) feathers.

Thankfully grandma lives somewhere they allow roosters so we will still get to see he grow.

I need to read up on the ameruacana verses easter egger... From what I understand it's a mixed breed. The farm store definitely labelled them ameruacana a but they also labelled them pullets so oh well...
