If you would share your location that would help with suggestions on sourcing the bird you want. Are you looking for a true Ameraucana and, if so, in which of the accepted colors? Again, that information will help to better narrow the list of possible sources. There are only a couple of online/retail hatchery sources (Meyer hatchery) that provide true Ameraucana, and those are only in the blue variety - which can be blue, black or splash. My Pet Chicken sources from Meyer, so you can order these same Ameraucana from them. Of course, these will be hatchery birds so if you are looking for a good, quality, true Ameraucana your best bet is going to be to source your birds from a reputable breeder who understands the differences between true Ameraucana and Easter Eggers, etc as well as is working to breed birds that meet the breed standards. For that the location you are in will again become a question as this will play into which breeders you may be near, which events/shows you may be able to attend easily to network with breeders and pick up birds in the sales barn, etc.
