Amerucana Hen or Rooster? (1 year old)

I was nearly positive my Amerucana chicken was a hen. However she still hasn’t laid any eggs at 52 weeks and last month she started crowing. A lot. We don’t have any roosters so maybe she is just being dominant? No spurs are visible. The pictures are from the summer so she is bigger now and her comb is redder. We can’t have roosters but there are no guidelines about crowing, no-egg-laying hens! Any help would be appreciated.

It's a rooster. But you could always just tell people that it's a tomboy chicken

It looks like a pullet to me. I’m not seeing any male feathering. Congrats! You have a crowing pullet!

How does what work? The crowing? Some hens will start crowing if no male is present. At 1 year old the feathering would be unmistakable if it was a cock.

It looks like a pullet to me. I’m not seeing any male feathering. Congrats! You have a crowing pullet!

Thank you for the feedback. I looked at pictures of Amerucana roosters and Cadbury doesn't seem to have any feathers similar to the pics I saw. Is there any way to get her to stop crowing? Will she start laying eventually?

Your bird is absolutely female. Not laying and crowing point to hormonal imbalance/pisdible ovarian damage

Is there anything I should/can do? She is my daughter's favorite so I don't want to cull her unless she is suffering.
