Amerucana or Easter Egger ?? 7 Weeks Old !!! All advice would be GREAT!

Idk, they don't really look like easter eggers to me. I'd say maybe ee parentage, but they look like barn yard mix.

A barnyard mix with the ability to lay coloured is the definition of an Easter Egger ya know? Some dont even have to have beards or peacombs.

In any case, yep they look like EEs.

The person you got them from porbably bought the parent stock from a hatchery, or ordered them in themselfs and is just selling off the excess.

EEs have no official definition, and aren't an official breed. It's just personal opinion on where to draw the line between "barnyard mix" and "ee". For me, in my own opinion, if the hen lays brown eggs she's lost too many EE features and crosses over my own personal line to 'barnyard mix'.

I emailed the person that I got them from and asked a couple of questions about them. When I bought them they were sold to me as Amerucana's. So I am interested as to where they got them from or if they hatched them. I bought 5 but gave 3 away and now I have two left. The one with all the white and one that is almost solid black. I really hope they lay a blue or green egg!!!!

Really? Its 8 weeks old and it has no comb whatso ever. I have a 8 week old male amerucana rooster and his comb is 2x bigger than the white one.

I will take a picture tomorrow morning and let you see.. I was told that she is a silver. I really dont know since they were sold me to as amerucanca's and the guy who sold them to me even had the spelling right and every thing. So who knows what I will end up with

He's probably not very mature right now. He'll get a bigger comb later on. Which is the other one you kept? The other black and white one? Or a black one?
