Amerucanas are easily one of my favorite breeds, I love their sweet disposition and pretty eggs!

I don't own an Amerucana, but I do own an Easter Egger, and they certainly are gorgeous birds! I love how my EE has a beard of feathers and her coloration is extraordinary! I love the green eggs too!

Some day I want to get a pure Amerucana, one that lays blue eggs.

does anyone have a good picture of an amerucana bantam next to a regular breed?
I just want to see a size comparison. I heard they are lot smaller then silkies and I don't want to put them with my flock if they are that small.
