my mom gave me this and i don’t think i need it for myself so i was wondering if i should keep it and give some to the birds from time to time? would there be any reason they might ever need this?

Best reasons would be to add a little to feed after hatching new birds, during molt, or if you accidentally bought Layer when you meant to buy All Flock.

Probably want to dissolve those in water and then add to feed to form a wet mash in order to ensure appropriate dilution / uniform delivery. Will take a bit of math to determine proper dose rate. Back of napkin math puts one capsule at almost one gram and about 96% protein. So 25 capsules (half a bottle) will raise 1 kg (2.2#) of feed about 2% total protein.

So yes, you can use it. No, for a bunch of reasons I wouldn't incorporate that into the usual feed regimen - but most ly for reasons of cost, inconvenience, and consistent dosing.
