Hey guys, I just made a thread about my pullet here who seems to be having some serious issues. I was recommended to give her some Calcium Ciltrate+D3. Unfortunately I don't think I have that on hand. I'm hoping to use TUMS instead until I can make it into town to grab that supplement. I just need to know dosage and how frequent to give them to her, thank you all so much!

Tums is calcium carbonate, same thing as oyster shell. You may need to break them in half since these are large wafers. Use two to get the amount of calcium that's required.

In the future, it helps to keep all related questions involving an individual chicken in one thread so all the information is in one place.

Each thread is a documentary and valuable information to people coming along weeks, months or years later.
