
Ammo shortages began here before the election. And it is pretty much the "norm" that as soon as ammo comes in it is gone in a few days/hours.
One gun shop here just had an order from last year come in. They still have a few boxes of many types, but the price is much higher.
One thing here that has had a measurable increase is the number of people getting CCW licences. And the gun ranges, where we never had a problem getting a lane, are now "take a number" and wait. Safe handling of weapons classes now have waiting lists. But, the happens in times of economic insecurity. People feel the need to defend what they have from those that have not prepared for the future. Or from those that are in the habit of just stealing what they need from others.
