i really dont no i constanty cleand their chick pen out stunk badly yes i moved em to the floor they been in it since last night and it Highly stinks already i dont understand that i never had that issue before my water is not leaking the floor dry besieds their manure so i dk what it is i flipp the bedding 1-2 times a day so their laying on dry bedding some got droopy eyes some dont they seem fine besieds that these are leghorn cockerals so anti botics and medicine is not worth the money to put into them so i dk to jus hold out and see if their goin to be fine or cull them last time i had white rocks i got a case infection coryza in my flock but their ranged out side all day these leghorns have been in the barn and have not seen outside or came in contact with any other birds so idk how they get infected my laying flock thats in a barn over iis alll fine and laying strong

If thats the case, the corza really stinks too. They could just be sagging their eyes due to the ammonia but it's hard to tell from a description.

I would give them more room and more bedding, there shouldn't be any smell... especially with leghorns. Cornish rocks would be a different story as they eat and crap so much that it's very hard to keep the bedding dry in a small area.

The only advice I can give, is bigger area... and... more bedding. Maybe an outdoor run if your in an area with good weather.... but if your like me, it's hard to do with 15 inches of snow on the ground.

Good luck...

i use regular straw deep their fine they run around eat like hogs n drink like em their on a high protien broiler protien feed to add the lbs on them their a month old runin around some have bright red combs others have small dull colord but id say this is normal in large batchs of roosters like that so i dk maybe is jus the straw getin in their eyes i use it in the big hen houses and their fine
