I have a Red Star with a bacterial infection. What is the dosage of oral amoxicillin? mL/lb ??

Dosage of amoxicillin is 125mg to 250mg given orally twice a day for 10 days. The weight dosage is 57 mg per pound or close. What type of infection is it? This helps with wound or reproductive infections.
