Amprolium vs Bacitracin in chick starter

I see no reason to use a feed with Bacitracin. Id return that bag and get a bag of chick starter with Amp. I feed Seminole chick starter and that has Amprolium in it.

Hey, Halo!! Just posted another photo of the chicks my hen hatched from your eggs a minute ago!

Thanks - I don't think I can return it, because I've already fed a bunch of it, but I will get some Seminole feed as you suggest. "(However, the chicks I hatched from your eggs are growing by leaps and bounds on the Nutrena with Bacitracin@!)

I know. I went to the Nutrena website to see what's up, and they give very little information about the formulation of the chick starter feed and nothing is mentioned about the medication. I read that Bacitracin is added to control enteritis, and some feeds have both Amprolium and Bacitracin! Nothing is marked on the bag - you have to read the fine print on the tag. My mistake for not doing that, but I assumed because the first bag I bought had Amprolium, that's what all the Nutrena chick starter had.

I will post whatever Nutrena has to say about this when I communicate with them tomorrow.

Wish I could help!
