Amusement for ducks in winter

Our duckies have been playing with the bottom half of a plastic Easter egg all summer. They like to dunk it in the kiddie pool and toss the water back over their heads. I never know where I'm going to find that darn thing!
I'm wondering what they'll be like when we have 2 feet of snow in the yard!

Interesting thread! So, for folks who give treats in a suet feeder - I use those for my chickens, but never thought about using it for the ducks! If I suspend it in their run, at about head height, would they be able to pull out greens from it? I would love to do this for them if they could! I never thought about it with them since their bills are so different from a chicken's beak!

A couple yrs ago I bought one of those round metal things you hang up to put lettuce ,cabbage and any other kind of greens i can find, They love it the geese are first then the ducks as the chickens are snatching what is dropped on the ground. I just wish it was bigger. Someone posted about using one of those wire hanging baskets. might work for head lettuce of head cabbage.
