An adventure into chickens😊

Hi everyone,
I am a new chicken owner (last year) on our little hobby farm in BC. I fell in love with lavender orpingtons and ended up coming home with a mix of orps (they were sold out of lavender orps) - 6, day old chicks. All turned out to be roosters, except 1 BCM hen 4 roos successfully rehomed. I then got sexed chicks from the feed store (2 Columbia rock, 2 EE and a leghorn) for my last two roos- a gorgeous lemon cuckoo Orpington and a blue. Looking forward to chicks this spring and hopefully getting a few Orpington hens!
