Our area is run WILD with the wild turkeys. This evening I could hear the gobbling down in the woods. In fact, I hear them a lot.

That looks like a domesticated bird (Royal Palm I think) not a wild turkey. It probably explains why he was so tame. Anyway, it was still a funny story and thanks for posting it.

Yeah, that's what I thought. There is definitely a difference in him and a true wild one...I have the wild ones on my property frequently.

What is funny about that turkey is he was right in the country club area which is very heavily populated...just wondering where he came from. Of course, last year there was a black bear running around scaring everyone there so go figure, lol.
