This Fall Aster is a fairly new introduction into the gardens here - but it looks to be a winner. The scientific name is Aster oblongifolius 'October Skies' in case you want to look at it online. It is easy to grow, floriferous, and its size (18 inches high by 2 feet wide) makes the colorful flowers easy to work into the landscape. For these photos, some 2012 hatch Phoenix got into the photos. I hope you enjoy the pics and try out the plant in your own garden.
