thank you.. my mom made me put her outside yesterday, but she's in a warm coop, with no other birds... she is still eating and drinking.

I'm so glad she's still alive

Yes I would definitely reach inside and clean out!!!. She will be oh so grateful and a lot more comfortable. Just make sure you've no fingernails and go gently. Lots of love

OP has done this several times over several days along with warm Epsom salts soaks, but can't seem to get it. She is giving the bird a break in hopes her body will heal itself. We are all keeping her and her Peanut in our thoughts.
