okay the past few days my flock of chickens slowed down on laying just a little bit. the weather has been very humid so i'm wondering if that's reasoning for the slow down. i usually collect all the eggs at the end of the day...but got home LATE last night and wasn't able to gather the eggs. So I went out first thing this morning to get all the eggs...and there was only 3 (when we normally get about 20 per day). I've been going out all morning checking to see if chickens are in boxes to lay eggs and they are in boxes. My question is if we had an eggeater there would be evidence of broken shells or sticky yolk in boxes, right?? If we don't have an eggeater, do you think someone's coming in my coop in the middle of the night and stealing eggs? Yes I know I'm crazy
I sometimes tend to look too far into things, lol! I might have to put a camera in my coop, LOL!!!
