I have a hen that is now 20 weeks and she laid her first egg three days ago and she dropped her egg and it broke. It might be a little upsetting because you never got to see it whole or coming out, which looks gross. Your hen or pullet will be laying eggs between 18-24 weeks of age. If it is later then that means that it is a big chicken. I don't have roosters, so don't ask questions about them unless you just want to and then I will explain it to you. I know a lot of things about chickens, hens, and roosters. They are also easy to take care of as well. You can reply and say or ask anything.
