I have a question chick, did you get the small mat heater from shop the coop? the reason I'm asking is I will be getting Silkies in the spring and from all I heard the don't roost so was thinking about ordering the mat. sounds safe too.

Yep, the pad was from Shop the Coop. I don't know if they still carry it though.

I was looking around a few months ago to see about getting another one for REALLY cold nights and I couldn't find the same mat. They had similar ones, but not the same one. It was the smallest mat they carried.
