An ending to our visit to the pet store today, SURPRISE!

We came back from our visit to the pet store with Victor and Ming mei with two new birdie friends in tow... We saw these adorable sweet very tame young budgies, and had to get two. Joe, aka Duck_feeder has had them before so he knows how to care for them, while I am new to them. They are living in our bedroom now, well at least until the new duck pen is done so they can move into the spot where our little ducks are in our upstairs hall. We're thinking they just might learn how to quack being around ducks all the time!

AWWW! I almost bought a pair of birds from Petsmart last month - and i started doing all this research for them and everything! That is till I got home, looked at the two rabbits, hamster, and duckies in the room and relized im out of space!

How is Victor with the new birdies? Do they scare him? How are Moxie & Norie?

We need to keep them quarantined from the ducks for a while to ensure they don't have any diseases that can spread to the ducks. I'm betting on Victor being scared of them.

One of my parrots quacks...not sure how he got that one, because no ducks have been in the house. I've made the duck call quack in the house but his quack is different. He comes up with all kinds of strange stuff on his own.
