My husband is always intersted in the outside temp because of his garden. For a gift one year I bought him a clock from Brookstone that projects the outside temp and time on the ceiling. When I brought home my ducklings I was worried about temp, so I stole his external temp monitor and stuck it in the brooder. Now, everytime I look at the clock, either on the actual clock, or on the ceiling through out the night, I can see what the temp is in my brooder on the other side of the house.

It looks like it's getting a bit low, so I am off to lower the heat lamp before bed.
