An idea to help temp control...will it work?

Thermal mass works pretty much the same with or without a fan but weather or not you have a fan effects temp control drastically an it effects how objects in the incubator effect airflow.

Sorry you have issue with someone being corrected.
I dont really care what you call it but there are hundreds of people on here every day trying to learn. Many of which English is not that native language. Others dont have a background in thermodynamics. Those people will try to look up "heat sink" an get confused because it makes no sense in the context of incubation.. If you use the correct term "Thermal Mass" then it will make sense when they look it up.

Yes but I could have done more outside research before I posted here to make sure of what I was talking about or what I was exactly asking. I didn't think about doing that but I guess I should have.

I wish I had thought about this before I started my eggs. After reading rebelcowboysnb link on thermal mass in an incubator it sounds so simple and makes perfect sense. I think I just didn't want to trust myself because of dealing with eggs and an incubator which is something I have never done before. I am just getting started with this.

Of course I don't have a problem with corrections. I did say I don't mean to sound offensive to you and that it just seemed you were taking offense to the misuse of the terms. That's the problem with reading text, you don't pick up on meanings of words as if listening to someone's actual tone. I should have looked all this stuff up before posting here. I have a bad habit of thinking things are harder because I have never done them before and I guess I shouldn't just run here first as a crutch, but I think this site is full of well experienced people as far as hatching goes...more so than me.

I didn't mean to make this into a stinker and offend anyone, you might just see that I end up being the most corrected person here

If I get corrected I am learning something and I try not to offend anyone else in the process.

ok so whatever its called, my hatch rates went way up since I started using it
