Strong resemblance to my Spaulding Cameo Silver Pied. Although yours is darker in the neck.

I don't believe it is Taupe or Cameo silver pied. I don't think it is Peach either. I think we know what it is but I want Brad to look at it first. The only way to know for sure is to prove it out in another year.

Dany, can you tell us where you got the photo? Is this one of Jay & Jen's birds? What do they have to say about it?

Yes, it comes from Louden Farms .... but it's too easy to ask directly to the owner! Search is where the fun is!
This brown and green together ....
For me, it's a male .... and there is no spalding !

Is the border between Peach and Cameo is well defined?
There are some Peach who look Cameo and some Cameo who have the look of Peach ... it depends on what month the picture is taken!

With this bird ... we had doubts ... too!

Some says , a new color : Raw umber ... i never heard of that color !

The first Raw umber comes from the mating of a white peahen (father and mother Blue silver pied) and an ordinary peacock Blue pied. Peachick are born white and tookcolor later.
When they are crossed with each other ... their offspring are Raw Umber color .





Sometimes the tail is white .... sometimes pinkish brown!




I was wondering ... that's not what is called: Leucistic brown?
