I haven't read it yet, having just come across it a few minutes ago, but I expect it to be of interest to a lot of people here.
 
China has more breeds then that.

I know. From reading the intro it seems to be focused on the Chinese chickens that were imported into Britain and the US in the early-mid 1800s.

I found this book while looking at chicken breed origins and, specifically, Chinese breeds but didn't find anything but very superficial overviews about modern Chinese breeds in today's China.

I wanted to know more about my Langshans' deep heritage.
