An Introduction from south Florida

Can you post the picture on the black bird in question? I'm sure these folks can help you id it...

Here is the bird that TSC said was a Wyandotte but people on a FB chicken group say it’s a Dark Cornish. She is 7 months old and just laid her first 3 small tanish colored eggs the past 3 days.

Unless that is not what these birds are. But I was told they are Cornish X. I’ll try to find a photo. They were both laying every day but now one stopped a few days ago.View attachment 2023791View attachment 2023792
I have never raised Cornish X, but yours look like they would be great as meat birds. That is, if you wanted to do that. It's not something I can do, because I'm a wimp. I'm way too attached to my chickens. But, I'm envious of people who do because they know exactly where their food is coming from and what went into it.
