An object sticking out of hens neck!

Hi, I need help! I have raised chickens for years and never had anything like this. It looks like my chicken swallowed a big thorn, and it tore thru her neck and it sticking out! There was dried blood underneath. When I try to pull on it, it is attached to her flesh in her throat I guess. I am afraid I will rip her throat apart. She can eat, but can't swallow big items. posting pictures.
