I can't remember how early theyvstarted getting it. They're almost 4 years old now so it's been a while. One of mine only has it above her eyes and makes it look like she has eyebrows.

I don't think she's mixed, but if she is then that's possible (Unless she's an egger breed). She never seemed as if she'd grow a single comb, more like a pea comb or a rose comb.

I'm aware, im saying she herself may be mixed if she's a blue copper maran- Since don't maran's have single combs? There's no way she'd only have blue copper maran due to the comb situation.

Marans do have single combs though. The black blue splash gene means they can potentially have all three colours when breeding blacks

exactly, my chick didn't look like she'd be growing a single comb so there's no way she'd be a pure blue copper maran if she has it all.
