One of my pullets has broke the very tip of her beak off. There was a little blood, and I'm wondering what I can do for her. I'm down to 2 pullets and a rooster. My other one passed on I never knew what caused her to go down. These guys are active and doing ok. They love sweet corn and watermelon. I'm just worried about her little beak.

this has never happened to me before, so i am no profesional. i think she may have trouble eating! (depending on how much has been snapped off) could you send photos? how did this happen? you will have to give her some finer foods to eat as she may struggle!

What needs to be done, if anything needs to be done, depends on the severity of the damage to the beak in which, we'll need a few photos.
