I am thinking of moving my incubator to the basement of my home.
Right now temperatures there are 55 to 65 degrees F, and relative humidity is
54%
I am thinking at least these factors will be more stable in the basement this time
of year, since the house temps are fluctuating alot.

How do you think this sounds... anyone have experience running their incuabator
at similar anbient temps ?
I'll be using a Brinsea Oct20 Eco, and for hatching a hovabator

Anybody here know if this will

I was having a problem with mine holding a temp with the house temp fluctuating as well. If I keep the air set on 70 degrees and also keep a little space heater beside my incubator that is also set on 70 that the temp will stay stable. When it's 85 degrees during the day then 37 at night it's hard to keep these temps stable!

Well we have a homeade incubator and my boyfriend just wired a hot water heater thermostat to the light (our heat source) in it. It is keeping a way better temp as far as stability goes!

You should be able to consult the owners manual for the best temps for that model. My LG does hold it's temp better at the recommended range of ambient temperatures. If you need another manual, they are ususaly available on line.
