Ancona Chicken Thread

I just ordered 2 Ancona and I have neighbors but I am in the country. I hear they are chatter boxes. I guess I will see. I love their look and I wanted some white egg layers. I hope I don't regret that after seeing this thread.

Mine talked a lot, especially when they needed to lay an egg, but otherwise were good birds.

I have about 10 different breeds and my Ancona's are absolutely the biggest talkers! My top hen is called Chatty Kathy because she will not stop talking!
