Ancona Chicken Thread

I got 1 question, I got well you know!!!! anconas but my question is this, they all are standar size, but out of my newest pullets i got a really little one, could they have bantam genes?? she is the same age but half the size, she's as tall as my oeg, could she be cansidered pure ancona bantam??? I'll take some pics tomorrow so you can see them both togheter. Thanks.

I have a Sumatra that I consider off-type - much much smaller than the other birds, and lots of brown in her feathers. here they are both the same age, from the same hatch and same mother and father. What is going on??

Do you have the parents Nava? You're sure another roo didn't sneak in? Otherwise, perhaps she is a sport??? Whatever happened, she's purty!

I just posted pics of my 3 Ancona roos. Anybody have a copy of the standard of perfection for them? I am keeping just one, who should it be? I have 3 Ancona hens to go with the lucky winner.
