Ancona duck-dog attack

I just looked in on him, yes he has eaten some. I gave him food about an hour ago and his water is already dirty :)

Water with electrolytes are great if you have some, but water is fine, just so he is taking some. Chopped scrambled egg or boilded egg for some protein, and his feed. Chickens will take feed mixed with water to make it like thin oatmeal, but not sure about ducks. This gets more water into them.

Ok. He is trembling like he's freezing. He just appeared to have a seizure and he's drinking good now, but choked on the water. The only vet in the area that seen ducks isn't in today. I don't know if it would be better to wait or drive two hours to get to a vet

Ok the only vet in the area that sees ducks is out of the office today. He is trembling/shivering non-stop and he had what appeared to be a mild seizure and is still somewhere in that zone. He will drink water if I offer it, but he did choke on it. And he already smells like infection, or I associate the smell of derma gel with it (the last time I used it was with a very bad infection). Should I flush the wound again with Epsom salt water and use blu kote?

Do you have him inside where it is warm? Or use a heat lamp at least 2 feet over head. Do you have Nutridrench or electrolytes in water? If he is seizing he may have a head injury, so wait to offer him fluids until her is conscious. I wouldn't think he has developed an infection this fast in less than 24 hours. Can you clean his wound again, and reapply the antibiotic ointment? I really don't think I would move him or take him to a vet that far away in his condition.

He is inside. He is as warm as he'll stay avoiding the heat lamp and the heat pad lol. I'm going to get electrolytes in a bit, I'm also going to get the veterycin spray. He's drinking ok, almost choked once I think because of whatever is going on with seizing. It's very mild if that's what it is. The smell I really think is just an association in my head.. I'm cleaning the wound twice a day. And I feel the same way about taking him that far. I think a lot of the problem is the level of stress... He is not a lap duck and he's very hurt and very scared.
