Ancona duck wheezing?

Hello there friends,

We have two Ancona ducks a little over two months old. Both seem very happy and healthy, minus the fact that one seems to wheeze rather than quack. And she seems to be wheezing more often now.

Doesn't appear to have any blockages, no runny eyes or nose, and not overweight.

We're new duck owners, so any thoughts would be appreciated!

Do you have a video? And when you say not quacking are they both female and did it quack before then stop or did it go straight from peeping to wheezing?

Ha, trying to get a video without the chickens making themselves the star... Will post once I have it.

We were told they're both female...sexed by the breeder. She did quack for a bit, but it turned into a wheeze as she got older.

Still has lots of energy!

You can post a longer video just to be sure, but that just sounds like "whimpering" to me, something females do often. I notice it in heavyweight breeds more frequently.
